도티 람보여사의 가스펠 'Remind Me Dear Lord"

 

소개하는 곡은 도티 람보(Dottie Rambo)여사가 작곡한 또하나의 명곡이다.

도티 람보여사는 제2의 화니 크로스비(Fanny J. Crosby)라고 불릴정도로 만든 많은 곡이 귀하고 그 가사와 선률도  아름답다.  아깝게도 얼마전 버스투어 중 사고로 세상을 뜨고 말았다.

알리슨 크라우스(Allison Krauss)라는 가스펠 가수에 의해 더 많이 알려졌다.

남성 쿼텟의 시조 블랙우드 브라더스(Blackwood Brothers)의 멤버들은 지금 다 세상을 떠나고 2세 테리 블랙우드(Terry Blackwood)가 노래하고 있다.  40대의 아까운 나이로 타계한 피아니스트 안토니 버거(Antony Burger)의 피아노 반주가 옥구슬 굴러가듯 섬세하게 들린다.

마지막에 도티 람보여사의 생존 모습이 잠깐 보이고 끝난다.
